Traffic Signal Replacement Lydford-on-Fosse

Works will now start at the A37 Lydford Cross Keys on 21st July 2026, finishing in late September 2026. 

We have been working on the traffic management detail with our contractor to reduce disruption as much as possible, and the majority of the work will be done under an intelligent 4-way temporary lights (Urban 64). The overnight closures (6:30pm to 7am) will be mainly towards the end of the scheme to facilitate the final resurfacing, lining, and installation of traffic signal equipment. 

A detailed newsletter will be issued nearer the time on the exact timings of this closure, as this is weather dependent and can only be done when preceding works are complete. The A37 will be kept open at all times. Access to all businesses and residential properties will be maintained throughout
